On October 3, the Rights and Resources Initiative, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and the Ford Foundation will co-host a high level Sida Development Talks on land rights in Stockholm. Following that, from October 4 to 5, hundreds of indigenous and community leaders, rural women, advocates, researchers, government officials, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders will convene in Stockholm for the largest international conference advancing joint efforts to secure the land and resource rights of Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and rural women. Participants will take stock of global efforts and develop action plans to address challenges and seize opportunities for securing land rights on a larger scale. Click here to learn more.
